Obituary of Daniel J. Orbe

Daniel J. Orbe, 62, of Canandaigua, NY passed away on February 21, 2016. Visitation will be held at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua from 5:00 – 8:00 on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Burial for close friends and family members will be at Woodlawn Cemetery at 130 North Pearl Street in Canandaigua, NY at 2:00pm. Funeral service will be held at LifeSpring Community Church at 5026 North Road in Canandaigua, NY on February 25, 2016 at 4:00pm. Danny was born on the Lower East side of New York City to Joseph and Marie Orbe on September 7, 1953. He worked as a Local 28 Sheet Metal Worker in New York City for 25 years. He retired early to be a full time Daddy to their newly adopted Daughter, Hannah Joy in 2008 as Mommy worked. He married his wife, Karen, in 1992 and they lived in Brooklyn, NY. In 2011 Danny and Karen decided it would be wonderful to move up to Canandaigua, NY where they would be near Karen's family and enjoy the wonderful lake in Canandaigua and the cultural arts of the Finger Lakes Region and Rochester. Danny also worked for a short time at Lowe's in Canandaigua which gave him the opportunity to learn more about the community and to get to know people in the area. He was very thankful for his church where he made good friends and grew deeper in his relationship with the Lord. He enjoyed living and being near water such as the beaches near NYC and the Lake in local Canandaigua. Danny is survived by his wife, Karen Sue Orbe and daughter Hannah Joy Orbe, niece's Katie Nelsen, Heather Ferry, Meredith Williamson, and nephew Andrew Allgrim. He is preceded in death by his sister Francine Nelsen, brother Richard Orbe, Mother and Father Marie and Joseph Orbe.
