Our family was saddened to hear of the passing of Sharon. Our Dad, Bill Morris, was a resident in the Gardens at the CCC for 5+ years. Sharon was so wonderful helping us to place him there, as he suffered with Alzheimers. She was so professional, compassionate and caring. She had a great admin "team" there at CCC, the 2 Ann's, Shirley, the awesome nurses and CNA's, whom became like family to us. We always enjoyed seeing Sharon at the Alzheimer's Memory Walks, either "cheering" us on or walking with us. She was always so friendly anytime we saw her. I had just seen her last week, and she conveyed her condolences for our loss of our mother, whom Sharon also knew. She was also in the CCC for a couple of months. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. ~The Family of Bill and Ruth Morris~ .

Sharon was tireless in her pursuit of excellence. She was classy, stylish and yet full of good humor. Most of all she was humble, always praising those who worked under her.
I will not forget her quick wit. She had a wonderful grasp on how to make things work in a very complex environment. Sharon knew that the provision of excellent bedside care was critically dependent on her support and advocacy for the people who worked under her. She was a "Six Sigma" leader before the term was popular. Her Genie costume and magic wand transcended any and all impediments to making her residents' wishes come true.
Godspeed, Sharon.

When my wife was dying of Alzheimer's at age 56 in 2011, Sharon went above and beyond the call to help us. Sharon made sure Cindy got proper care in Rosewood Continuing Care Center. Every time she saw me, she would ask if we needed anything. Sharon was a very caring wonderful person. Now she is in heaven with God.

I was very sad to hear of Sharon's passing. She was such a special lady! I had the chance to know her when I worked at Thompson Hospital. She was always reaching out and giving her support to people who needed it. When I returned to work after having suffered a miscarriage. She came over to me and gave me a big hug and told me she was sorry, it meant so much to me. I will always remember her fondly. My love and prayers go out to her family both at home and at Thompson.

Sharon will be missed greatly. So sorry for the family. One of the many things I remember about her is her ability to remember everyones name. All she had to do was meet you once. She was always "present" in the CCC offering encouragement etc. Thank you Sharon for everything you did here at Thompson and for the community.

Dear Robert, Connie and family, My heart goes out to all of you at this difficult and sad time, and my prayers are with you all. How difficult to say goodbye to one so loved and so special, but we will meet again - of that I am certain. I have always considered it a privilege to have been part of Sharon's life. Working as her assistant for all those years, our relationship moved beyond boss and employee and she became a treasured friend as well as an encouraging mentor. Her kindness, integrity, humor, championing of others, professionalism, and, yes, love for her fellow man have left all of us better who knew her. She made a lasting impact on the community as a whole and on the Thompson Health community in particular. As a nursing home administrator, she set and practiced the highest standard for nursing home care and insisted that standard be followed by every associate. Every resident was to be treated with the utmost dignity. She treated employees with kindness and firmness, and was beloved by so many. She taught me so much; I will forever be grateful for her love, patience, understanding and friendship. A special woman indeed! Sharon, my friend, I will miss you. Can't wait to give you a hug on the other side.

I was sadden to learn of Sharon's passing, My deepest condolences to "Mr Pepper" and family
Sharon was my Mentor When working with her at the CCC from 1995-2002 Sharon opened my eyes to what my purpose was. Her unwavering sense of Pride showed everyday through her smile, kindness and appreciation for all her associates as well as instilling a "HOME" to the Residents
What was most special and will always stay in my heart was the way she recognized me Standing in a LONG Line at the CDGA Post office~ calling out my full name as we both stood in line. Sharon was on the other side of the Island...Smiling, As others looked around seeing who called out ~ We reached out and held hands, Talked and wished each other a Merry Christmas. Its a blessing to have had her as part of my life.
Sharon will always be remembered.

My deepest condolences to Sharon's family and many friends and colleagues. I worked as a physician at the CCC in the 1990's and again 2013-2015. Sharon Pepper exemplified compassionate leadership, expecting excellence from others and modeling inspired, innovative and respectful care for all the people in her facilities. The staff deeply respected and loved her and she inspired excellence in care, behavior and standards by modeling those qualities. On a daily basis, even after she left her position, staff would speak so highly of her as a person and as a leader. She contributed immeasurably to the Thompson Health Care system and to the community. She will be greatly missed.
