Obituary of Lorena B. Aponte

Lorena B. Aponte Lorena Belle (House) Aponte passed away peacefully at Elm Manor Nursing Home on April 23, 2016. Lorena was born in Geneva, NY to the late George and Sarah House, and lived her childhood years in Phelps, NY. Lorena served for years at Geneva General Hospital and Park Ridge Hospital in Rochester, and was a celebrated volunteer for many years at Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. Lorena is survived by her husband, Onecimo (Charlie) Aponte of Canandaigua, her children Stanley (Janalee) Weaver of Geneva, Terri Weaver Rogers of Rushford, NY, Gary (Terri) Weaver of Jacksonville, FL, and Eric (Lynne) Weaver of Farmington, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brothers, Kenneth and Benjamin, and her sisters Marjorie and Nellie. She is predeceased by her brother Arthur and sister Edna Mae. Family and Friends may call Thursday, April 28th, from 2-4 pm and 5-7 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua.
