I am so sorry for your loss. I met Mike in 1994 when my daughters and I lived at Camelot. He always had a smile on his face, and he was a very caring person.
May he rest in peace. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. God bless each and every one of you.

I am sorry, but I had to add another note.
First, apologies for referring to Mike's mother as Diane, rather than Deanne. Sorry, but it's been a long time since I've seen her.
Secondly, in reading through the condolences, I was shocked to see who Mike's father is.....Bill. Bill and MaryJay attend our church and I talk to them regularly at the YMCA. I never knew Bill was his father and Bill obviously never knew that Mike and I were childhood friends. Looks like Bill and I have some catching up to do.

I was a childhood friend of Mike's. The only person who probably remembers me is Mike's mom, Diane. I don't believe I ever saw Mike after our family moved out of Hornell just before I started 6th grade. But I remember our friendship. I remember going to his home and Diane making us grilled peanut butter sandwiches. It's funny, I hadn't seen Mike in so long and when I saw his picture it just seems like that how's my young friend, Mike, would look when he was grown up.
I am sorry for your loss. May God give you grace and strength in the days ahead. I would have attended the funeral but I am conducting a funeral myself at the very same time in Corning.

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing! I worked for Mike in the mid-80's, During those same years, Mike and I were EMTs with the Cdga Emergency Squad. We often left our jobs during those days at Camelot to answer the calls for help. Whether friends or strangers, Mike answered thousands of calls for help over the years! He had a heart of gold and a smile even brighter! Mike will be sadly missed by all who knew him and I am heartbroken that he has left us so soon!!

Mike has been a wonderful son through the years. There are not words to express our sadness at losing him so soon. He was a "gentle giant" of a man and was as helpful and kind to us as the many people he encountered. He truly will be missed.

Dear Jeanne
I just read a few minutes ago about dear Mike.I am so so sorry he was the greatest guy. Years ago when I worked at Camelot leasing the apartments he was such a great guy. During that time I got divorced and he helped me move some furniture into my new place. He was always happy and joking and just a really true wonderful man. He will be missed by many people. I have a very heavy heart tonight. Take care Jeanne

We wish to extend our sorrow to the family on the passing of their loved one, Michael. We had lived at Camelot for several years in the mid-1980s and remained friendly with Mike through the years after having moved. Whenever we ran into each other, there was always a hello or a wave & smile in passing. We, too, will miss Mike.
