Obituary of Carla J. Caves

Carla Caves (Maiorani) passed away at her home in Hopewell on September 29th at the age of 59 after a long illness. She is survived by her husband George, her sons Benjamin and Daniel, her sister Donna Puentes and brother Emidio Maiorani. She was predeceased by her father, Dominic Maiorani and her mother Margaret Faruch. She was a dedicated caregiver for her family and the public alike. She studied biology at SUNY New Paltz and eventually worked as a registered nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital for approximately 12 years. Friends and family may call at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua on Monday, October 3rd from 5 to 8pm. Services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 4th, at 2pm, followed by the burial at Woodland Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Donations can be made to the Wilmot Cancer Institute in Carla’s honor, and the family would like to extend a special thanks to Wilmot’s facility and staff for all their care and guidance over these years.
