Dear Chris and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Tom was so much fun and such a great guy. He was a great dad and we always saw how much he loved his boys while they were growing up. It was an honor to know him. He will be missed!

Dear Coyne family, Tom was indeed a wonderful person. A few years ago, I was very ill and on heavy medication, but could still golf on most days. Tom knew I could tolerate Vernon's ginger ale. He searched for and bought a case of it and always had one ready for me when I came to the club or had it delivered to me from the refreshment cart. He took care of me and earned my deepest respect and gratitude..and love. I will miss him too.

Tom.
My golf partner.
But he was so much more than that. He was Humor. He was Integrity. He was Courage. He was Reliability. He was Concern. He was Leadership. He was Friendship.
If anyone brought out the Huckleberry Finn in us, grown men in the half-serious pursuit of excellence, it was Tom.
The joy will last because he would want it to.
The good-natured spirit he exuded has a permanent place in the very greenest of places, where for a brief time we can celebrate all that is good in life and be thankful for all who have made it so.

Although I didn't know Tom very personally it was always nice to see him at Winged Pheasant when I played in the Monday night league and joked around with him when he collected our green fees. Rest In Peace Tom.

Newton Street will not be the same without you. We are going to miss seeing you in the yard putting or chipping, raking or blowing leaves, grilling and bringing in your groceries. My kids could not get out of the car fast enough when they saw you outside. It didn't matter what you were doing, you always made time to stop and talk to them. When you went to Florida, we enjoyed keeping in touch via Facebook but always anxiously awaited your return. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your friendship throughout the years. We will keep an eye on Chris. Love, your neighbors at 2 Newton Street-Lisa, John, Mallory and Jake.
