Obituary of Patricia Anne Maria McGrath
~PATRICIA ANN MARIA McGRATH (Pat “Aunt Patsy”)
CANANDAIGUA: Patricia McGrath, 77, of Canandaigua passed into her new life on May 15, 2017.
Pat was born in the Bronx, NY to the late John and Margaret (Gray) McGrath on March 15, 1940. She was the youngest of seven siblings, Kathleen Smyth, Mary Clarkin, Margaret Shovak, Eileen Gallinaugh Breslin, John McGrath and James McGrath. She is survived by her sisters Margaret and Eileen and her brother John, as well as her McGrath cousins John, Maureen and Anne. Aunt Patsy is also survived by 29 nieces and nephews, 53 great nieces and nephews and 17 great great nieces and nephews. Pat had a deep love for her family and friends. There is nothing she wouldn’t have done for us. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a very generous and giving spirit. Pat was a loving confidante and friend to many. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. …And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand…
Friends may call at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, NY on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 95 North Main St., Canandaigua at 10:00 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Stan Kacprzak officiating. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W. Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne NY 10532 on Monday at 1:30 p.m.
