I just learned this sad news. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Todd. Just this past weekend I was thinking that Todd and I hadn't spoken in too long, and that I should ask whether he was planning to go to our upcoming 30th HS reunion. Although we talked infrequently and saw each other even less often, Todd was one of my favorite people, and someone whose perspective I valued. The world is a smaller place without him.

This is sad news. I met Todd last fall at the SAT Subject Test Committee meeting. He was new to the committee and made such a contribution from the start. I was looking forward to many more conversations about history and history teaching. And hoping to steer the talk away from the Red Sox, toward the Astros. Know that your son, husband, father, and stepfather will be greatly missed by colleagues and friends. God's peace to you all.

I was in Mr. Feldman's AP European and AP American History classes in Irondequoit. He was a bright man, with a sharp wit. One of the most memorable teachers I had. Sending condolences to his family and loved ones at this difficult time.
