Obituary of Barbara A. McGuire

Barbara A. McGuire Canandaigua- Barbara McGuire, 69, passed peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2017 surrounded by loved ones after a long, courageous battle with brain cancer. She is survived by her husband, John L. McGuire; son John D. McGuire and wife Suzanne of Scotia, NY; daughter, Ann Green and husband Lee of Canandaigua, NY and step son, Sean McGuire and wife Andrea of Blakeslee, PA along with four beautiful grandchildren; Jack, Madison, William and Alexandra. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a "one in a million" friend to many. Barbara, originally from Monroe, CT, relocated to Schenectady, NY and spent many years working in the HR department of Ellis Medicine. She and John recently retired to Canandaigua, NY. She took great pride in caring for others and could always be found with a kind word and smile to any stranger she met. We will always carry her memory in our hearts.
