Martha Lord-Menz

Martha C. (Goodberlet) Lord-Menz, age 92, of Honeoye Falls, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2017. Martha was born in Rush, NY and was the daughter of Walter and Nellie (Hassett) Goodberlet. Martha moved to Honeoye Falls/Mendon after marriage. She worked for many years in the Honeoye Falls school district. Later in life, she moved to Ferris Hills in Canandaigua.
She was predeceased by her first husband Gerald (Pike) Lord, second husband Harwood Menz, son Jerry Lord, siblings Margaret Krenzer, and Clarence Goodberlet. She is survived by her daughter Gail (Oliver) Moore, sister Janet (George) Moore, grandsons Edwin (Amy) Nemitz Jr., Steven (Kelly) Nemitz, and Lance (Michelle) Nemitz, and great-grandchildren Marissa, Ellie, Jacob, Daniel, Jordan, and Gavin Nemitz, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Light Hill (Canandaigua Comfort Care), 5160 Parrish Street Extension, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
There will be no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church at 37 Monroe Street in Honeoye Falls on Thursday July 27th at 10 a.m.
