Peggy M. Avery

Pittsford- Peggy Avery, former Canandaigua resident, passed away on August 31, 2017.

She is survived by her husband Hiram; sons, Charles (Linda), Matthew (Donna); daughter, Amber; granddaughters, Carly, Kathryn, Julia and Haley; a sister, Betty Sykes-Riggleman; and brother, Ronald (Eileen) McGhie.

Peggy was pre-deceased by her parents, Henry and Ruth McGhie; special aunt and uncle, Agnes and Charles Chronabery.

She was employed by Canandaigua National Bank and Sonnenberg Gardens. Peggy loved quilting, knitting, cross stitch and bird watching.

Her generosity and friendly smile touched us all. She will be sadly missed.

An 11am funeral service will be held Friday, September 8, at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. Interment will be in White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford.
