Shortsville- Mary Thompson entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2018.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 25 yrs., Carl; ; two sisters, Donna Smith and Ruth Snover; three brothers, Howard Cain, Jim (Deb) Cain, Tim (Ellie) Cain; her father and mother in-law, Vernon & Doreen Thompson Jr.; sister in-law, Michelle Thompson; several cousins, nieces, nephews; dogs, Ted & Daisy and many special friends.
Mary was predeceased by her mother, June Cain; father, William Cain; sister, Laura Welch; brothers, Gregg Everhart, Chuck Cain, and Bill Cain.
Mary was a life-long resident of Ontario County. She graduated from Red Jacket Central School in 1985. She and Carl were married on September 7, 1991 after a lengthy engagement of romance. They shared their life together as friends and lovers with their dogs. Mary was a true and treasured friend of many including Dave & Janet Bromley and will be sorely missed by all. She never met a stranger and a bright light has left this earth-plane and now looks down on us from heaven.
Friends may call Saturday, January 13, from 2-4 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 4 pm funeral service will follow at the funeral home.
