Obituary of Richard Finnemore

RICHARD FINNEMORE

CANANDAIGUA:  Richard Finnemore, 93, passed away January 10 at the Huntington Living Center in Waterloo.

Dick was born on June 4, 1924 in Moundsville, West Virginia to the late James and    Lucy (Hill) Finnemore.  He retired from the NYS Highway Department.  He was discharged a Tech 5 from the US Army CO A 336 Engineers in 1945 having served throughout the Eurpean Theater. He was a graduate of Penn Yan Academy and was an avid Dale Earnhardt (Senor and Junior) fan.

Survivors include his daughter Linda (Ray) Tuttle, granddaughter Kelly Ducar and her children Gavin, Carley and Sarah, granddaughter Jill (Greg) Tyndall and their children Pierce, Quinn, Kayleigh and Tristan.  He was predeceased by his sisters Ruth Hey and Mae Hamm.

There will be no prior calling hours.  Graveside funeral services will be held at a later date in Lakeview Cemetery, Penn Yan.Contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
