Obituary of Elizabeth M. Hedger

Elizabeth Mary Hedger Canandaigua- Elizabeth Hedger went to be with her Heavenly Father on February 2nd, 2018. Elizabeth was born on May 26, 1983 with the heart of lion and the voice of an angel. Liz, as she was called to friends and family, had a unique way of bringing light and joy to everyone she met. She lived life with a tremendous energy, immense strength and a faith in God that cast out fear. She cared deeply for everyone she met, including her family, her many long term and short term friends, the individuals she worked with for many years at Ontario ARC, and most of all, her husband and her children. While she is gone far before her time, she has left a lasting legacy of joy, laughter, and love. Elizabeth leaves behind her grandmother Marion Mescall, parents James and Patricia Evans, her siblings Chris Evans, Mark Evans, Paul Evans and Marie Griffiths, her husband, Nathan Hedger and her two children (and the source of so much of her joy) Alexander and Ezekiel Hedger. She also leaves behind a deep well of extended family, friends, loved ones and one special dog. Elizabeth has moved to her heavenly home, leaving behind a rainbow shaped space here, and those of us who are left behind will think of her often as we carry forward her spirit in our lives each day. Friends may call Tuesday, February 6, from 2-4 pm at Lifespring Community Church, 5026 North Road, Canandaigua. A 4:00 pm memorial service will follow at the church.
