As I sit here in the darkness of yet another night, I cry because I cannot believe that you are gone from my life forever. I don’t know how I’m supposed to live the rest of my life with only memories of the past and no future to look forward to with you. I feel like this is a bad dream and with all my heart, wish it was. You were such an incredible husband, father and friend. As long as I live, I will never ever feel love with anyone as I have with you. You were the most amazing man to have ever walked this earth and I am so glad that you were mine. I’ll love you til the day I die ❤️

I worked with Hugh at Great Lakes Controls back in the between '89 and '91. He came to mind this morning while driving to work and I wondered what he might be up to and how he was doing.
I googled him when I got in and was crushed when I found this obit. He was brilliant, a talented engineer, extremely positive, tolerated very little nonsense and was absolutely in love with his family.
My sincerest condolences to his loved ones. We will keep you close in thought and prayer during this difficult time.
Bruce

I never had the privilege to meet Hugh face to face as I live in Tennessee, but I've known him for many years. He was always a friendly person and had a wonderful disposition; always a joke and a smile, always helpful. He will be greatly missed and I pray for comfort for his family and friends. He had an impact all the way into a little mountain community hundreds of miles away and he will not be forgotten.

Hugh was a great man, he always made me laugh, his smile was always beaming! I loved playing hockey with him, it’s not always about the game but about who you’re sitting next to on the bench & in the locker room. If I could pick Hugh would be that guy next to me!! He was a great great man. I’m going to miss his laugh!

Becky, Amanda, Daniel and families - we are devastated at your loss. Hugh is way too young to have left, and it had to be sudden or he would have fought to stay with you. There is nothing we can say or do that will make this easier on you, so we just want to say we care, we pray for your comfort, and we will always remember Hugh for the great person he was. God Bless all of you.

Words cannot express the hurt, pain, and sadness that we are feeling right now. Hugh Larry was a wonderful man, a great husband, great father, and great friend. He lived life to the fullest. I never met anyone so full of life and love for others. He passed away doing what he loved to do, playing ice hockey. All of us will miss him forever and ever. :-(

I have many fond memories of Hugh. I worked with him in the past on software automation projects, and did some software development for him and his company. He was a lot of fun to work with, and we had many laughs. Hugh was always honest and forthright which I appreciated and respected. I regret that I haven't seen him in a while and kept in touch. May his friends and family find comfort in the kind of person he was and the life he lived. Rest In Peace my friend.
