Obituary of Mary Ellen Willsey

            MARY ELLEN WILLSEY

BLOOMFIELD:  Mary Ellen Willsey, 79, of Bloomfield, died at home on Mar. 5, 2018.  She was born on April 17, 1938 to the late Raymond and Henrietta (Thornton) Saar. She attended Bloomfield Central School and retired from the school district in 1994 after fifteen years of service.  She had been a member of the East Bloomfield United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and also sang in the Victor Community Choir. She volunteered with the Hands of Hope Community Meal Program.

The widow of Robert Willsey, who died in May, 2009, survivors Include her daughters Debbra (Michael) Woodruff, of Bloomfield and Sandi (Jim Pamper) Willsey, of Lima; grandchildren Amy (Denny) Beadnell, Bloomfield, Allyse Lemen, Lima and Colin Lemen, Rochester; great grandchildren Marissa and Caleb Beadnell; sister Dorothy Markham, Bloomfield; sisters-in-law Barbara Saar, Gladys Faulkner, Jenny Willsey; brother-in-law Don (Dorothy) Willsey; many nieces and nephews and devoted furry companion Holly.  Mary Ellen’s family would like to thank her amazing care giver, Liz. She was also predeceased by her brothers Donald Saar, William Saar, Sr. and brothers-in-law Charles Markham, Edwin Faulkner and Frederick Willsey.

                                   

Friends may call at Fuller Funeral Home 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Services will be held at the Bloomfield United Methodist Church, on Saturday morning at 10:00.  Burial will be in the East Bloomfield Cemetery.
