Obituary of Charles R. Owens

Charles Ray Owens Canandaigua- Charles Owens, age 85, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2018 at Crest Manor Nursing Home in Fairport. Charles was born August 19, 1932 in Garrison, South Carolina. He resided in South Carolina for many years, and moved to Canandaigua, New York in 1962 for his Drywall Business. Charles was a hardworking, and built his drywall business to be a well-known, reputable business in the Finger Lakes area. Charles is survived by his children, Cindy (Al) Griffin, Bev Owens, Terry (Ken) Wesley, Mike (April) Owens, Shawn (Heidi Welsh) Owens, and predeceased his wife Helen, by their infant daughter Sherry Lynn Owens,and Brother William Owens. Charles had 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, Angie and Mike Burlaka (Janelle & Jake), Shane and Danielle Owens, Kyle and Kristin Owens (Kelsey & Kendall), Ashley and Seth Williamson (Kara, Haley & Allison), Madie Owens, Drew Owens, Liam Owens, AJ Willemsen and Jaxson Willemsen and a number of other relatives. Friends may call Sunday, March 18, from 2-4pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. An 11am funeral service will be held Monday, March 19, at the funeral home.
