Sandra "Sandy" Marie Darcy passed away on April 5, 2018.
She is survived by her loving husband, Terrence Darcy; daughter, Ashley (Michael); sons, Antonio (Hope) & Frisco(Margaret), step-son Danny Darcy, grandchildren, Jonathan, Isabell, Frisco Jr. Annabella, Arianna, Aubrielle, & Aaliyah; mother Ida Penepent, sister Cindy (Jeffrey) Helker, brothers Greg (Lisa) Brennen & Neil (Tracy) Brennen as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Special friends included Rose Marie Loria, Cherie Murphy, Scott Sullivan, stepmother Sandy and mother in law Diann Lee.
She is predeceased by her sister, Patricia "Patty" Perryman and her father Neil Brennen.
Sandy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister in law and friend. She was a kind hearted, caring soul. She has left us with everlasting memories that will never be forgotten. She has earned her wings in heaven. Forever in our hearts…. Until we meet again….
Sandy originally from Batavia, NY relocated to Canandaigua, NY and spent many years working at Elijah House serving the Veterans. She was an active member of the VFW rising awareness for Veterans. She took great pride in caring for others and could always be found with a kind word and smile. Sandy had the biggest heart, always taking care of everyone, always putting others needs before her own.
She will be deeply missed, gone from our lives, but never forgotten
Friends may call Monday, April 16, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 7 pm funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
