Ronald E. Parker

Canandaigua- Ron Parker, 76, passed away June 10, 2018 at F.F. Thompson Hospital.

Ron was in livestock his entire life. At the age of 18 he attended auctioneers school in Wisconsin. Upon his return Ron began his career in Canandaigua in 1964 with the future Finger Lakes Livestock Exchange, which he eventually purchased with his wife Barb in 1983.

He was a supporter and volunteer for many 4H and local agricultural programs.

More than all, Ron loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

Ron was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Alice (Harris); and brother, Jimmy.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barb; daughter, Bonnie (Bob) Thomas; son, Shawn (Deborah) Parker; grandchildren, Allison (Casey) Schultz, Jagger and Julianne Parker; great-grandchild, Hunter Schultz; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. Canandaigua.
