Luanne Tatro

Obituary of Luanne P. Tatro

"Perhaps they are not stars but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones shine down to let us know they are happy." Luanne Tatro, born in Rochester, New York, to Charles and Margaret Sauer, passed away on Sunday, July 8th, in Canandaigua. Luanne is survived by her loving husband, James Tatro; son, James and daughter-in-law, Heather. She is also survived by her sisters, Suzanne Sauer, Joanne Miller, Roxanne Blake; her sisters-in-law Annmarie Tatro, Linda Davy, Patty F., and Evelyn White; brothers-in-law, Andy Blake and Fred Tatro. Luanne worked for 27 years in the mailroom at Xerox in Webster, NY. She loved her job and took pride in carefully delivering mail and forming long-lasting friendships. After retirement from Xerox, Luanne became active in volunteering at the VA hospital, enjoyed time with her husband and son, listened to music, watched WWE on Monday nights and played games online. Luanne battled with MD for many years, but it never broke her spirit or love to be around a crowd. She loved family gatherings and spending time with her son and daughter-in-law. She also loved her visits from Dr. Langrath and her loving aid, Amanda Semans, who both took such wonderful care of Luanne throughout the years. There will be a 11am memorial service honoring Luanne on Thursday, July 12, at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua.
