Dennis Gerald Stafford

Dennis Stafford, 70, passed away peacefully at his home in Canandaigua, NY on October 27, 2018. He was born on February 7, 1948,  to Gerald and Theodora (Jodlowski) Stafford in Utica, NY. He graduated from Whitesboro High School in 1967 and immediately joined the US Marine Corps. He was awarded a Purple Heart for his service in Vietnam.

A graduate of Mohawk Valley Community College, Dennis was a master electrician and worked as an estimator and project manager. He traveled throughout the United States on many installations. Dennis retired from Hunt Electric in 2010.

Dennis was an avid outdoorsman all his life and enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the Pinnacle, Hook and Shell club for many years. He enjoyed woodworking and other creative projects and had completely remodeled his home when he purchased it. He also loved to cook gourmet meals for his family and friends and hosted many parties.

Dennis was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jamie, his father, and his brother, Gregory. 

He is survived by his mother, Theodora, his sister, Darla Corsette and his brother, Scott, one son, Jerry, and wife Keri, a daughter, Ginger Snogles, and husband David, a daughter Kristen Cappizzi, grandchildren, Liam and Isabella Snogles, Miles and Reed Stafford, Tylor & Aiden Cappizzi, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, and his loving companion, Lori McCullough.

Friends may call Sunday, November 4, from 4-6 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua.
