David Tuttle,
David Irving Tuttle, 78, of Bergen, N.Y., formerly a long-standing resident of Canandaigua, N.Y., passed away on January 2, 2019 after a long illness
David is preceded by his parents Charles S. Tuttle and Doris W. Tuttle. David was born in Cortland, N.Y. on February 10, 1940. He was a Marine in the Armed Services and went to Finger Lakes Community College and received his Associates Degree in Math and Engineering.
David was married to Sheryl Tuttle (Bowers) on May 13, 1961; they were married 57 years.
David worked as the Plant Manager of Gates Albert for more than 25 years. He enjoyed golf, reading, fishing, camping with his family and spending time with friends. He was also a member of the Brockport Elks Club and Moose Club in Homosassa, Florida.
Dave is survived by his three children, Carol Vargo and her husband Ronald, David John Tuttle and his lifelong partner, Christine Brown, Jennifer Tuttle; his 6 grandchildren David Michael Tuttle (Amanda), Amy Dax (Andy), Sarah Tuttle, Joseph Vargo, Matthew Vargo (Fiancée, Lindsie Zimmerman), and Emily Vargo; his 3 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Mackenzie and Grayson Dax.
There will be a private interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Canandaigua with the family at a future date and time. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fuller Funeral Home.
