Obituary of Rose Davis
Canandaigua – Rose M. Davis 70, passed away February 28, 2019 after a 2 year battle with cancer.
She is survived by her children, Janet (Tim) Potter of West Henrietta. Laurie (Reggie) Baker of Greenwood, Steven (Kelly) Davis of Canandaigua. Grandchildren: TJ and Mark Potter, Paul Davis, Jennifer Fuller, Joseph Baker, Dakota, Rebecca and Ashley Baker, Tashia, Jason, Cary, Samantha and Paige Davis. Great Grandchildren: Kailya and Kolby. Siblings, Robert (Janice) Ellis, Jim Ellis, and Charles Ellis, Shirley Ellis. Aunt Grace Howard.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul Davis, Parents Geraldine and Lester Ellis, Sister Mary Jane Orr.
Throughout the years, Rosie could be seen around town delivering the Messenger Post. She worked on the same route for many years. When she wasn’t delivering papers or working at Roseland Bowl, Rosie enjoyed gardening, sewing, bowling and playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rosie’s children would like to invite family and friends to a celebration of her life at Roseland Bowl on March 4th, from 4pm to 7pm.
Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in the spring.
