So sorry for the loss of your loved one. Our loving heavenly Father, whose personal name is Jehovah, views death as an enemy and doesn't want any of his sons and daughters to die. We see this in 1Corinthians 15:26; "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." This also gives us insight into what he will do in the future to death. We see this also at Revelation 21:4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." May these scriptures along with the resurrection hope (John 5:28-29) give you hope and comfort now. jw.org
