Paul H. Simmons

Middlesex- Paul Henry Simmons, “GUP” born in Canandaigua NY, August 2, 1943 to Leslie and Olive Simmons, passed from this life on June 10, 2019, in the company of his loved ones.  Paul was preceded in death by his siblings Helen Kunes, Frieda Paddock, Walter and David Simmons. Paul was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy. He served in the US Army as a MP. Paul worked as an engineer at Mobil Chemical Corp/Tenneco/Pactiv for 38 years.  
Paul is survived by two daughters Bobbi Simmons-Sarnov, Paula Cipolla and husband John, predeceased by his daughter Sandra Bonanni Fogarty.  Survived by his grandchildren Michael (Danielle) and Steven (Caitlin) Bonanni, Hannah and Matthew Sarnov, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Paul is survived by loving companion of 35 years, Anne Morales and her daughters Barbara Schenk and husband Larry, Michele Theilen and husband Greg, grandchildren Kaylee(Dan)King, McKenzie Schenk,  Jared(Chauna), Jenna, and Josh Theilen, 2 great grandchildren.  
Paul believed enjoying life and hard work in the right balance is the key to happiness. Paul lived a straight forward and honest life, he took great pride in his family, friends, passions and accomplishments.   
Friends may call Saturday, June 15, 1-3pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 3pm memorial service will follow at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Middlesex Conservation Club.
