Mrs. Evelyn M. Day
Mrs. Evelyn M.(Goodberlet)Day, born on June 10, 1925 in Rochester, New York, passed away at age 94 while surrounded by her loving family on June 27, 2019 at M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center. Evelyn was married to the late James M. Day for 58 years. She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Webster. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Douglas(Denise), James(Diane), Thomas(Mary K.), and Donald(Theresa), eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren,nieces and a nephew.
She enjoyed spending time with the family, gardening, homemaking, and many family camping trips. She was a founding and charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Canandaigua. Evelyn's daughter in-law Diane deserves many thanks for supporting her and taking care of all her needs and wishes with loving care, it will not be forgotten.
Her family wishes to extend special thanks to the entire staff at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center for the excellent care she received.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Canandaigua.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours on Tuesday, July 2nd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m at Fuller Funeral Home,190 Buffalo St, Canandaigua NY. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 3rd at 9:00 a.m. at Fuller Funeral Home followed by the burial at Maplewood Cemetery, 150 Middle Rd, Henrietta, NY.
