I remember Bud from my earliest days as a nurse at Strong, watching families gather around his cart for a little “recharge” as they maintained their bedside vigil. He never forgot the nurses and in the busiest moments of my day, the little piece of candy I pocketed from his cart, would provide a little encouragement to finish the day.
Bud, thank you so much for all that you did and gave.
Rest In Peace.

I loved this man! He always saved a yellow laffy taffy for me and he brought so much kindness into my day. He had a smile that brightened my day. I have been a nurse at Strong for 20 years and he will now be one of my fondest memories. His small gesture of kindness made the world a better place. I am saddened to know that I will not see his beautiful face again. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Please know he was loved by many and made a difference in a nurses day.

I will so miss meeting Bud in the ICU at Strong. He always reminded me of my grandfather - his gentle and kind smile with a quiet spirit. I am so very sorry for your loss! God bless you all.

My Prayers are with Bud's wife and extended family. He and I graduated from high school together and had been classmates in Elementary school. I will never forget how interested he was in talking to me at our first class reunion after graduation and how much he wanted to know about what I was doing. He brought back many memories of things we did together that I had forgotten. May he rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences goes out to the Wesley family. My heart is so very heavy with sadness this day on learning of the going home of my friend Bud. I’m really going to miss him. He was such a sweet and dear man. I always enjoyed speaking with him. A feeling of emptiness will be felt throughout the Friends Of Strong was community. But we must remember that although Bud has moved on from this side of eternity to be with the Lord, his legacy shall continue on. The fond memories of his kindness and that wonderful smile shall be comforting in the coming days as well as days to come. I pray that the fond memories would not be eclipsed by the hurt and pain that the family is experiencing at this point and time but that they would dwell on those wonderful and precious moments with Bud that the good Lord was gracious enough to bless them with as well as friends and others. I’m going to miss you Bud Rest In Peace my friend.
