Obituary of Clarence G. Walker

Clarence George Walker Clifton Springs- George Walker, 94, passed away February 1, 2020. George was born November 1, 1925 in Plattsburgh, NY to Clarence Minor Walker and Lena Brunell Walker. He is survived by three daughters, Lee (Tom) Watson, Karen Tiffany , Jane (Frank) Riccio; a son, Jeffery Walker; 12 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; brother, Bernard Walker; sisters, Clara Tripodi and Ethel Sample; brothers in-law, Frank Evangelista and Pete Morrison and several nieces and nephews Predeceased by his wife, Teresa Maio Walker (1990); son, Clarence George Walker Jr. (2002) and daughter, Debra Jean Walker (2009); brothers, Robert Walker and Owen Walker; sisters, Vivian Walker, Bernice Wilson, Margaret Gadway and Marion Morrison. George worked at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua and also for Rose's Poultry Farm and for Boyce Enterprises. He was heavily involved in Scouting and was a Scout Master for Troop 29 for many years. He loved gardening, hunting and a yearly camping trip to the Old Mill in Moores Forks, NY. Later in life he also enjoyed his daily glass of Budweiser beer and a toke of his pipe. Friends may call Thursday, February 6, from 11-1pm at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua.
