Obituary of Barbara J. Johnson

Barbara Joyce Johnson On Monday, February 3, 2020, Barbara passed away in her sleep at the age of 82. She was born on April 19, 1937 in Sayre, PA, the daughter of Wanda Gleockler. Barbara grew up in Ulster, PA, where she met her husband, Charles P. Johnson. They were married on March 9, 1957. The family moved to Canandaigua in 1969. Barbara is predeceased by her husband Charles, her mother, Wanda, step-father Frank B. McCauley and brother John McCauley. She is survived by her daughters Judy Johnson, Linda Moore (Clark Johnson) and Wanda Moore; her four adored grandchildren, Russell Blank, Kathleen Blank, Connor (Kaylee) Moore and Kyle Moore; and her brother Daniel McCauley of Williamsport, PA. She will be fondly remembered by the many friends of her children and grandchildren, all of whom called her "Gramma J". It was her favorite title. A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Saturday, February 8 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Holiday Harbour clubhouse. Burial will take place at a later date, when she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in Woodlawn Cemetery. Donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
