There are so many memories growing up with you as my Grandma some of my favorites include the many sleepovers at 80 Parrish Street and Wilcox Lane. I loved pulling out the sofa and having living room sleepovers, playing card games, doing puzzles, going to Bingo, baking cookies, playing shuffle board and walks in the courtyard. My favorite thing to do with you was read, we would go to the "old wegmans" together and you would buy me a new babysitters club book then we would go back to your apartment and read them together while Grandpa watched his black and white movies. Thank you for teaching me that however hard real life is you can always get lost in a good book and escape even if it is for a few minutes. You also showed me that survival of having three kids in three years is possible. I will always remember laughing with you that I was pulling an Edith when I found out I was pregnant for Owen when Gabbie was just 4 months old and Gracie was not quiet 2. Not only will I cherish our memories but my children will as well. Owen always enjoyed your talks together and your stories and impressing you with his facts and Gabbie and Grace loved you coming to their dance recital and your warm hugs and smiles. I will cherish my memories of my time spent with you and Grandpa give him a hug for us all. Love you Grandma Short
