Obituary of James W. Walsh Sr.

James W. Walsh Sr. Farmington, NY Passed peacefully Feb 13, 2020. James was born in Auburn, NY June 26, 1944 and was raised in Canandaigua, NY. James life was filled with many adventures in and around town with his large family and loving wife Lynn. He worked many years for R.P. Myers in Rochester, NY as a welder. He has always enjoyed the lake, hunting, fishing, his love of old cars, auto racing and football. Most of all he was a great husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all. There is not a person he couldn’t sit with for hours and have a conversation with. He brought joy and love to all who knew him. James is survived by his wife of 52 years. Lynn, daughter Kim (John) Johnsen, sons James Jr (Deborah) and Brian (Kathy) Walsh. Eight Grandchildren James (Sarah) Walsh, Alysa (Michael) Johnsen, Avery Walsh, Ben (Tori) Walsh, Sam Johnsen and Sydney Johnsen, Brian(Jennifer) Penny and Bridget (Nick) Green . Great Grandchildren Remington Walsh, Cole Walsh, Nate, Austin and Emma Penny and Brooklynn and Mason Green. And nine siblings- Tom (Betty), Margaret Outhouse, Mary Van Epps, Nancy (Malcolm) Allen, Liz (Paul) Rider, Pat (Roz), Ed (Kathy), Karen (Mike) Lamouria, Cheryl Squires. Brother in law’s Ted (Kathy) Kuntz and Roy(Patricia) Kuntz, Sister in law’s Leah Hotchkiss, Pat (Van) Rundt. And his faithful companion Archie was always by his side. Friends and Family please join us for calling hours Tuesday Feb 18th from 2-4 and 6-8 at Fuller Funeral Home 190 Buffalo Street Canandaigua. A 11 am memorial service will be held Wednesday Feb 19th at the funeral home.
