Obituary of Joyce Purves

Joyce Purves, who would have turned 96 this November, passed away on October 6, 2020 at Kobacker House, Hospice in Columbus, Ohio. Joyce resided in Canandaigua, New York from 1984 to 2015, when she moved to Powell, Ohio to live with her son Gary and his wife Maureen. Joyce loved the Lord and spent her life sharing "The Word" with people. She was a member of Zion Fellowship in Canandaigua and she was a chaplain volunteer at Thompson Hospital. Her survivors include children, Gary (Maureen) Casale, Joyce Anne Casale, Paul Casale, Christine Snyder, along with several grandchildrenand great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband William Purves, her husband Paul Casale, step-son Miciah Purves and son-in-law, Fred Snyder. Due to the current pandemic environment, a graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11 am at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Canandaigua, New York.
