Obituary of Hailey Mae Edwards

Canandaigua- Hailey Mae Edwards, born at 11:25 pm October 2, 2020, passed away in the loving arms of her parents, Derek Edwards and Tammy Swan-Edwards, on October 4, 2020 at 4:16 pm in Rochester. Derek and Tammy awaited her arrival with joyful expectation, and although Hailey's time here was short, she was completely surrounded by unending love from her family and friends. In her time with mommy and daddy she got to grasp their fingers, be kissed and held, had her first book read to her; "Be Brave, Little Tiger!", and be told "I love you" as much as possible. She fought a courageous fight, but she is now at peace with all her family and four-legged friends that went before her. Hailey was a beautiful, sweet girl that her mommy and daddy love and miss so very much. She will never be forgotten. Hailey is survived by her parents; maternal grandparents, Darrell and Karen Swan, of Canandaigua; paternal grandmothers, Sandy Haight, of Clifton Springs and Debbie Chappelle, of Canandaigua; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Bruce Edwards; cousin, Liam Edwards; great aunts, Linda Page and Debra Brown; and great-grandmother, Barbara Turner. Tammy and Derek send their utmost gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong for all their compassionate care and support during their time with Hailey. Calling hours will be October 30th from 5-6 pm. Services will follow at 6 pm at Fuller Funeral Home with Pastor Don Muller of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church officiating.
