Obituary of Janet M. Doell

Janet Doell, 82, of Canandaigua, was born on July 31, 1938 and passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Doell having been married 52 years prior to his passing in February 2020. She is also survived by a son Ron, granddaughter Ryanne (Doell) Sak, sisters, Joanne Sweet, Nell Rosini and brothers, Ed Pierce, Gary Pierce, Ronald Pierce, Charles Pierce and many nieces and nephews and predeceased by a sister Jeanne Pierce, and brothers Frank Pierce and Phil Pierce. Janet is what many refer to as a super mom. She worked full time, took care of house, home and husband, while raising a son. Janet was a people person coming from a large family of nine siblings and always loved being around family and friends, usually in her kitchen where she made the most delicious food. Some of which were recipes passed down from her late mother, Helen. She was also a genuinely creative person. Always redecorating the house, making clothes for herself and others, and creating works of lawn art decorations. No matter what you needed whether it be a ride, an ear to listen or even a crocheted blanket, she was always there for you. Her family is deeply saddened by the loss of her amazing spirit. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Due to the present day restrictions, funeral and her life celebration will be postponed until such time as will allow people to pay their respects properly as that is what she would have wanted.
