Obituary of Dorothy A. Dear

Dorothy A. Dear (Dewey) – Clifton Springs, NY Dorothy was born in Canandaigua, NY on May 28, 1935. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 13, 2021. She is predeceased by husband John and sister Betty (Hiram) Rude. Dorothy is survived by their daughters, Donna (Dennis) Purschwitz of Tennessee and Diane (Dan Phillips) of Churchville; granddaughter, Danielle (Seth) Yarber of Texas; sister, Marie Wagner; brother, Clyde (Bonnie) Dewey; several nieces and nephews. Dorothy retired from Eastman Kodak Company in 1986. She enjoyed bowling in Canandaigua on Fridays with the seniors. She enjoyed driving to the pier in Canandaigua and watching the boats. At home she always watched the birds, bunnies, and the occasional deer in her front yard. A special thank you to neighbors, friends, and relatives that would call or stop to see her.
