Obituary of Michael B. Coyle

Michael B. Coyle Mike passed away on August 4, 2021, with his family by his side. Mike was born on July 8, 1939, in Rochester to Michael "Mickey" and Mildred Coyle. Mickey was an Irish immigrant and instilled in Mike his love of Irish culture. He was in the insurance business in New York City and Rochester before eventually becoming a Risk Management Consultant for Aldrich & Cox in Buffalo, where he worked for 25 years. He retired to Canandaigua in 2004 and returned to his passion, writing three historical mystery novels. He was predeceased by his son, Chris, in 1977; and sister, Mary Sauter, in 1994. He is survived by his wife, Kathe; and daughters, Katie Coyle (Randy Tagg) and Jeanne Jaramillo (Roger Selvage). A funeral Mass will be celebrated on August 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Canandaigua, immediately followed by a celebration of life and luncheon at Canandaigua Country Club.
