Obituary of Frances M. D'Agostino

Frances M. D'Agostino Canandaigua- Frances D'Agostino passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at MM Ewing Continuing Care Center at the age of 82. Born and raised in Canandaigua Frances attended St. Mary's grade school and graduated from Canandaigua Academy. Frances had a love for cooking. She worked at Polimeni's Restaurant for 20 years and later retired from FF Thompson Hospital as a supervisor cook. Frances loved to do jigsaw puzzles, giving gifts and spoiling her grand puppies. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Josephine DiMaria. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa D'Agostino; grandson, Anthony D'Agostino (Kayla McCann); siblings, Nicholas DiMaria, Josephine (Albert) Fabian, Gerald DiMaria; longtime family friends, Howard and Suzanne VanBuren and their family; several nieces, nephews, cousins and Kathleen Ditmars and her children. At Frances' request there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to: CCIA Food Pantry and Jordan Health, both at 120 N.
