Obituary of Suzanne E. Gill

Suzanne E. Gill (Provenzano), caring mother, exceptional grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed January 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving children at the age of 60. Suzanne was born on October 23, 1961 to Bernard and Judith Provenzano (Hook) and grew-up in Rochester, NY with sister June Kinsella (John) before her family relocated to Webster, NY. Suzanne was a 1979 graduate of H.W. Schroeder High School. An avid athlete, she swam competitively for H.W. Schroeder and Webster YMCA Aquatics. She would later pass on her skills to many aspiring swimmers by coaching and officiating meets. Suzanne then spent some time for herself exploring and traveling. She later studied Fine Arts and Graphics at Rochester Institute for Technology. A naturally talented artist, she produced illustrations, paintings, and creations for numerous art shows and events, and was recognized twice as a WXXI featured artist. Suzanne was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Gill (2003). They were married August 24th, 1985. Together they raised 5 children in the countryside of Canandaigua, NY: Whitney Unrath (Jon), Lindsay DeSantis (Zachary), Anthony Gill, Sonata Hill (Neil), and Paris Gill (fiancé Marissa Waterman). She also left behind grandchildren Robert, Laura, Evelyn and Henry, niece Emmy, and many friends. Her other cherished family includes Rebecca Schneider and Samantha Tantillo-Estrella.
