Obituary of Shirley A. Reifsteck

Shirley Ann Reifsteck, 75, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 14, 2022. Shirley was born on December 12, 1946, in Canandaigua. She graduated from Marcus Whitman in Gorham. She was the daughter of late Frank and Mable (Palmer) Frarey. She is survived by her son, Ronald (Cassandra) Stringham; daughters, Robin Bennett and Katheen Summers; brother, David (Bonnie) Frarey; brother-in-law, Gerald Wyffles; sister-in-law, Norma Frarey; seven grandchildren, Troy Bennett, Dustina and Nitosha Stringham, Kai-Leigh Barone, Susan, Shane and Alexa Summers; six great-grandchildren, Cameron, Cayden, Jayden, Mykel, Jaxon, and Blake as well as several nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her longtime companion, James (Jim) Haight; two husbands, Glenn Reifsteck, Earl Stringham; brother, Earl Frarey; and sister, Jean Wyffles. Shirley worked as a waitress at the Hopewell Diner. She played bass guitar and snare drum in a band with her late husband Glenn. She and her late companion Jim owned and operated Dee's Donuts. Spending summers in New York, to Snowbirds in Florida. Shirley and Jim were known to always be socializing and were liked and loved by many. Family and Friends may call Thursday, January 20, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua, immediately followed by funeral service at 1:00pm. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. There will be a celebration held at the Seneca Town Barns, 3675 Flint Rd. Stanley, NY, 14561.
