Obituary of Shirley T. Kennerknecht
Shirley (Mac Donald) Kennerknecht Feb. 4, 1930 - Jan. 12, 2022 Canandaigua-Shirley Kennerknecht passed gently in her sleep on January 12, 2022, at MM Ewing Continuing Care Center. Shirley was born in Henrietta, NY when Henrietta was still a small farming community. She graduated from Henrietta High School. Shirley is survived by her sister, Jean Shafer; nephews Chris Shafer, Tim MacDonald; one niece, Michelle MacDonald; great nieces and nephews, Madeline Shafer, Jessica Quarterman, Katie MacDonald, Nicholas Quarterman, Jason MacDonald. Shirley loved trendy fashion, QVC, doll collecting, all things American Indian, any and all animals. In her younger years she spent her off hours either in or on the water. Her love of water and particularly Canandaigua Lake kept her living here most of her life. Memorial services for Shirley will be held in spring of 2022. In Lieu of flowers please send memorial contribution to St. Joseph Indian School, 1301 N. Main St., Chamberlain, South Dakota.
