George Wright Jr.

Obituary of George N. Wright Jr.

George Wright Jr., 68 of Farmington, NY passed away on March 20, 2022, in the comfort of his home with his daughter Kelly by his side. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, George managed his illness with strength and grace, and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. George is survived by his ex-wife and long-time friend Patty Sehm (Bement), four children: Sarah Wright, George Wright III (Sara LaForce-Wright), Kelly Wright & Rob Wright. His eight loving grandchildren, Hunter, Jaxson, Christian, Jeremiah, Kala, Austin, Ava and Bailey. As well as a loving and caring brother Larry Wright and an absent sister Susan Wright. Along with his four loving grand fur babies, Opie, Bear, Marley, Piper and a great-grand fur baby Stormie. Predeceased by his parents: George Wright Sr. & Dorothy Smith (Sullivan), his long-time companion Marie Horn, his son Jacob Wright, and his loving best friend Buddy (dog). George had a presence about him that attracted all walks of life. He had such a loving, free-spirit and made a lifetime of memories with many that knew him. He had a sense about him that most adored, always willing to lend a helping hand or the shirt off his back. He was always up for a good time as he knew we weren't here for a long time just a good time! He loved to party and was the life of the party. He was a legend of Canandaigua and was notorious for nicknames. George carried so many long-lasting friendships, he knew what it meant to be a FRIEND! Always willing to open his door and give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He and his neighbors always looked out for one another as if they were family, he always stayed on top of the gossip and made it known that he loved them! George will be greatly missed by many; we wish we could list you all. George loved his children more than life itself. He was a hero and a fighter till they end. One of George's biggest accomplishments was being a father! He always considered himself the luckiest man in the world for the love he and his children shared, Sarah, George and Kelly called their dad a superhero, and even as adults, still see him that way. He was always there for them through their ups and downs and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer. The love they shared was like no other. A truly genuine Dad, Father, Brother, Son, Grand-father, and Friend. There are no words to express the pain and sorrow of the loss of our father. We hope everyone will cherish every moment they were able to spend with such an incredible person and that person was George Wright Jr. Services with be held Saturday, April 2 from 1-3 PM at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua.
