Obituary of Debra A. Topor

Farmington, N.Y. - Debra Ann Topor, also affectionately known as Debbie and Grandma, passed at the age of 70 on April 10, 2022. She passed surrounded by her family at Thompson Hospital in the city of Canandaigua. Debbie is survived by her best friend and husband Bill Topor, brother Craig Gaiser and his wife Jackie. She will be remembered, and forever loved by her six children and their families: Her son Michael and his two children Nick and Morgan. Her son Jeffery and his wife Jennifer, and their children Noah and Maelena. Her daughter Kristen and her husband Kurt, and their children Austen, Ethan, Tayler, and Lucas. Her daughter Jenny and her children Cassidy and Trey. Her daughter Lindsey and her children Zion, Aaliyah, and Elijah. Her son Matthew and his wife Clarissa, and their son Callum. Debbie lived a life of love and service, dedicated to her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, and her faith. She was devoted to her husband Bill for 51 years, and shared a love, romance and friendship that was both beautiful and inspirational…the living definition of what a loving marriage should be. As a mom, she tirelessly and selflessly raised her 6 children, and continued to play an integral role in their lives every day. As a grandmother, she was deeply involved in each of her grandchildren’s lives, always the first to offer nurturing support and loved each of them unconditionally. She prioritized time with her siblings and was loving and supportive throughout the years. From her many years of service in youth ministry, to her love of the Lord, her love for gardening, flamingos and her oh so special Shih Tzus…she walked in love. She breathed out empathy. She shared compassion. She was always the ‘one’ for everyone. Calling hours will be held at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St, Canandaigua, NY 14424, on Saturday, April 16th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. The family will be having a service at Crosswinds Wesleyan Church, 3360 Middle Cheshire Rd, Canandaigua, NY 14424, on Thursday, April 28th at 2:00 pm. Following the service, the family will be having a celebration of life at Victor Municipal Park, 6680 Paparone Dr, Victor, NY 14564. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Debbie’s name to Happy Tails Animal Shelter, 2976 County Road 48, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
