Obituary of Joyce L. Coats

Joyce Coats Canandaigua-Joyce Coats, 83, of Quail Summit, passed away April 20, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving son, Edward (Christine) Coats, of Keeseville, NY; daughters, Diane Day, of Canandaigua, Mary (Robert) Thompson, of Seneca Falls; six grandchildren, James (Jenifer), Christopher, Mason, Priscilla, William, Brook; two great-grandchildren, Jakob and Jackson; sister Joan Coats (Dick Lee), of Canandaigua; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law; several nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Coats and son, James Coats. Friends may call Monday, April 25, from 2-4 PM at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc., 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 4 PM funeral service will follow at the funeral home. A private burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Mrs. Coats memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
