Obituary of Robert J. DeLamarter

Robert J. (Bob) DeLamarter, 71, of Canandaigua formerly from Waterloo, NY, passed away suddenly on April 23, 2022, with his loving wife at his side. Predeceased by parents Clarence & Alice DeLamarter, sister, Rose Flack. Bob is survived by his wife, Barbara E. (Barnard, Plummer) DeLamarter; daughter, Michelle Ann (Scott) McDonald; son Robert M. DeLamarter; stepsons Cristian, Matthew and Adam (Whitney) Plummer; nine grandchildren, Charlotte, Flora, Iona, Opal, George, Helen and Hiram McDonald, Alexa and Olivia Plummer; sisters, Clare Hauf and Mary Ellen Ritter; mother in-law, Evelyn Barnard. Bob was retired from NYSEG after 38 years and was a 1968 graduate of Waterloo High School. A Celebration of Bob’s life Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 95 N. Main St., Canandaigua, NY on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Private Interment to be at Glenwood Cemetery, Geneva, NY.
