Obituary of Alice J. Wild
Alice "AJ" (Gardner) Wild passed away peacefully at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, NY on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the age of 75.
Predeceased by her parents Darwin and Velma (Gardner) Ost and husband Donald E Wild.
She is survived by her children, Michelle Shaw, Susan (Eric) Aubriot and Duane (Monica Fuller) Wild; grandchildren, Amberle (Joe) Kelly, Brittney (Stephen) Pane, Jamie (Rob) Green, Bobbi Smith, Peyton Smith, Bianca (Lucas) Milliman, Owen Wild; and many great-grandchildren. She was also a beloved sister, aunt and great-aunt to many.
AJ worked in the food service industry most of her life, many of those years spent at Wally's Pub and assisting with community service efforts through the Canandaigua Moose Club. She was well-known for her culinary skills and is a "local celebrity" for her famous liver and onions.
Aside from a love of serving others, AJ enjoyed spending her time with her many grand and great-grandchildren, and beloved animals. She was often regarded as a friendly face who always offered a listening ear and great conversation.
The family will be having a small intimate service at Woodlawn cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life held at the Canandaigua Moose Club on Saturday, June 4, beginning at 1:30 pm. The family extends the invitation to anyone who would like to pay their respects and share any memories or stories they have of AJ.
