Peter DePaolis passed away on June 27,2022.

Peter was born on July 3, 1961, to Barbara and John DePaolis. He grew up in Phillipsburg, NJ and graduated from Phillipsburg High School.

He graduated from Rutgers University in 1983 with a B.S. in Computer Science and had a successful career as a software engineer.

Peter was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being on his boat fishing by himself or with family and friends. He was an adventurous cook making new foods including homemade sopressata, porchetta, coppa, mortadella, octopus and seaweed salad, homemade kimchi, and scrapple. He enjoyed music and taught himself how to play guitar and electric violin.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Rosetta and survived by her children, daughter, Anna (Grey) Benham; sons, John (Christina) and Dean Grasso; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and John DePaolis. He is survived by his sisters, Jamie DePaolis Noel (Dan) and Rosemary DePaolis Tso, and a niece and nephew.

There will be a private gathering for the family in Canandaigua, NY. Arrangements are under the care of Fuller Funeral Home, Inc., Canandaigua. A celebration of life will be planned in his hometown of Phillipsburg, NJ at a later date.
