Obituary of Nancy G. Evans

Nancy Gage Evans passed away July 17, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Nancy was born May 18, 1951 in Gorham. She graduated from Marcus Whitman High School. Nancy worked at Sears in Victor, Linens and Things and the Hampton Inn. Nancy loved her flower gardens, her family and working out at the YMCA in Canandaigua. Nancy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ronald Evans, children Charles (Kim) Evans, Colleen Thompson and James (Margaret) Evans; grandchildren Alyssa and Kaidyn Thompson, Aeden Jacob and Connor Evans. Nancy is also survived by sisters Sheila (Ralph) West, Judy (Dan) Bergstresser, Brenda (Zachary) Goldstein and Candace Gage as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Ronald and Brent Gage and her parents, Margaret and Willis Gage. Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo Street in Canandaigua from 5pm-7pm on Thursday, July 21. A service will be held at the Fuller Funeral Home Friday, July 22, at 10am. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery at 130 N. Pearl Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Canandaigua Family YMCA, 32 North Main Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
