Holly Brown

Obituary of Holly M. Brown

Holly M. Brown, age 35, died unexpectedly on July 30, 2022 at FF Thompson Hospital. She leaves behind the love of her life, Ed Tomion; their son, Emmett and family pet Ducky. She is survived by her parents, Tom and Linda Brown of Victor; brother, Chad Brown of Victor; twin sister, Stacy Brown (Adam Blanc) of East Rochester; nephew, Colton Brown and niece, Alivia Brown. In addition, she leaves her extended family, Regina Tomion (Edward's Mother) of Stanley, Anna Tomion (Karlton Kunes) of Stanley and Jennifer Tomion (Josh Ochs) of Geneva. Holly graduated from Victor Central School in 2004 and went on to earn her Master's degree in Elementary Education specializing in Special Education and Reading. Her passion was working with special needs students which she loved. She always went above and beyond for her students. Holly dedicated herself to education for past 12 years. She taught the last 3 1/2 years in the Marcus Whitman School District. Many described her as "always so nice with an infectious smile" and an active listener. Holly enjoyed the outdoors. She loved camping, riding four wheelers, bicycling, hiking and gardening, always making sure there was enough green beans for the dogs. She especially enjoyed walks with Ed and their dog Ducky at Kershaw Park. She had a special spot in the yard overlooking the field of butterflies where she enjoyed roasting marshmallows. When she wasn't outdoors, she enjoyed making necklaces, painting craft projects and making wreaths. She particularly enjoyed going to birthday parties, family dinners and out for mint chocolate ice cream. With her giving nature she was always making treats like cookies and ice cream cake for birthdays and other occasions. On Ed and Holly's trips to Florida they would feed animals at the zoo, go to old car shows and walk on the beach to dip their toes in the water. Holly was a caring and selfless person always putting others before herself. Holly was a great sister and was loved very much by all. Even at a young age she looked out for Chad and Stacy making sure they were prepared for the day. Holly was always the peace keeper between her siblings and was loved more then she would ever know by them. Even as adults they would turn back into children throwing whatever is laying around at one another and then laughing. She enjoyed assisting her dad in whatever projects he was doing. She was always so enthusiastic to help and loved being his right-hand girl. She also enjoyed spending time with her mother shopping, going to craft shows and having lunch together. Holly was a quiet light shining bright that reached many people and never had a bad word to say about anything or anyone. There was nothing more Holly looked forward to then being a mother and was thrilled to be starting a family with her love Ed. Holly said many times that she could feel Ed's love for her with no words needed. Ed felt the same love in return.
