Kirk D Hobbs of Laurelton, New York passed away on Friday August 5, 2022, in Canandaigua, NY

Kirk was born in Brooklyn, NY to Natalie & Willard Hobbs on February 7, 1961. He was raised in Queens NY (Rochdale) and graduated from Springfield Gardens High School. Kirk was an Air Force Veteran and following active duty he settled Hempstead NY with his parents.

Kirk met Vivette Daley and from that union his only child, Kevon D. Hobbs was born.

Kirk was an active member of the Transport Workers Union of America where was a bus driver for the MTA Long Island Bus /Nassau Inter County Express for over 30 years.

Kirk was predeceased by his mother, Natalie Hobbs, Father, Willard Hobbs

He is survived by his son, Kevon Hobbs; His son's mother, Vivette Daley; brother, Keith (Sherry) Hobbs; stepmother, Lillie Hobbs; nephew, Brenden Hobbs; nieces, Jasmyne Barnett and Kianna Hobbs; great-niece, Legacy Rasheed; uncles, Charles Hobbs and Alphonso Haynes; aunt, Catherine Bullock; Many cousins, friends, & TWU members.
