Obituary of Grace Anne Scott

Grace Anne Scott, a beloved mother, sister and grandmother passed away peacefully on August 8th at the age of 88. Grace Anne is survived by her sons; Richard (Susan) Scott and Robert Scott; her sister Patricia (William) Steele; and brothers; Duane Giblin and Doug (Anne) Giblin, her grandchildren; Jeremy (Jennifer) Scott, Jamie Weaver, Zachary Abrams, Emily (Darius) Bright, Nicholas (Emily) Scott, William Sellers, Adam Scott and Aubrey Scott. Her Great-Grandchildren Matthew Scott, Peytan Scott, Lillianna Weaver, Donovan Weaver, Greyson Bright, Kalliope Bright and Asher Bright. Grace Anne was predeceased by her husband of 69 years; Burgy Scott, Daughters; Jan Sellers and Luanne Scott. She was born January 12, 1934, to parents Winfred and Winifred Giblin. She was a graduate of Lyndonville in 1952. Grace Anne married Burgy Scott on May 29, 1953. They went on to have four beautiful children; Jan, Richard, Luanne and Robert. Grace Anne worked many years for Marine Midland Bank in Spencerport, NY until she and Burgy moved to Bristol, NY. Grace Anne then started her own Upholstery business out of her home. She was an avid lover of crossword puzzles, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She was a devoted Christian. Grace Anne was a member of East Bloomfield United Methodist Church for over 40 years. She served the Lord and His people with her whole heart. She enjoyed serving at the many yearly functions at EBUMC. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends whenever possible. Grace Anne will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Friends may call Monday, August 15, from 4-7 PM at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua.
